This is the new System you have heard about to convert the Berdan primed cartridge to accept a boxer primer. You can now reload your steel cartridges in a few easy to do steps. Never be caught without a way to reload your Ammo. In times of need it will be almost impossible to find reloadable cartridges. Now you can convert them and always have a supply on hand. This new version is made from a super durable Nylon housing with a hardened steel insert for the drilling guides. This system also has a 1 year unlimited warrantee on the housing. (not to include bits)
This system uses the Medium sized cartridge holder and the Small top drilling guide. This cartridge set up will use the small rifle primer.
System comes with small Sized Cap and medium bottom and extractor rod plus bits.

It does work, but....
I will say that the Mark V does work for conversion to a boxer primer. However, the reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is this: I found that the shell holder/bottom assembly does not maintain the shell as well as I would have liked. After getting the bit on the first one set where I wanted it for control hull #1, the hull will work deeper into the holder. Most of this is probably due to the usage of oil for drilling purposes making the plastic slippery. I was able to over come this issue with a piece of hardwood placed under the base that would keep the hull flush with the top of the lower assembly. Is it possible to form this piece closer to the dimensions of a 7.62x39 hull with a shoulder stop? Is it possible to make a block similar to the rod block that is used to remove the hull to place on the underside of the lower assembly? This is the only issue I have faced so far. If you guys at Russian Reloads decide to upgrade this part, please let me know. Also, I was able to ream the primer hole with a cheap Lyman hand reamer and it was sufficient to prime with a new small rifle primer without using the RCBS primer pocket swager.
